Former "Princess Bride" actor Fred Savage makes a surprise appearance in the official trailer for "Once Upon A Deadpool," the forthcoming Holiday release of the PG-13 version of "Deadpool 2."

Well, to kick off the Christmas season, the Merc with the Mouth (Ryan Reynolds) will be returning to theaters next month -- this time, in a more kid-friendly way. And it appears he has kidnapped former kid actor Fred Savage to recreate the opening scene from the 1987 fairy tale classic "The Princess Bride."

"Why am I here?" A stunned Fred Savage asks in the newly-released preview, while lying in a small kid-sized bed, surrounded by toys and other kid's items. To which Deadpool explains, "You're in a PG-13 version of Deadpool, filtered through the prism of child-like innocence. And nobody does child-like innocence like you Fred! Nobody!"

Beginning on Wednesday, December 12th in theaters, FOX is releasing a PG-13 version of the hit superhero action movie "Deadpool 2," which has been edited into a family-friendly, special Holiday movie, but will also feature additional never-before-seen footage, featuring new sight gags and new scenes with Fred Savage as Deadpool's new sidekick.

The "Deadpool 2" holiday re-release will also help the charity, the "F-ck (Fudge) Cancer" campaign. For every ticket sold, one dollar will go to the nonprofit cancer organization.

On December 12, Deadpool 2 is back in theaters with zero F's given

To kick off the holiday season audiences of almost all ages will soon be able to enjoy the Merc with the Mouth's reimagining of Deadpool 2, filtered through the prism of childlike innocence.

"Fox has been asking for a PG-13 basically since the start in 2006," Ryan Reynolds told Deadline. "I've said no since 2006. Now, this one time, I said 'Yes' on two conditions. First, a portion of the proceeds had to go to charity. Second, I wanted to kidnap Fred Savage. The second condition took some explaining..."

Fred Savage will join Reynolds in new scenes for ONCE UPON A DEADPOOL in an homage to Savage's starring role in the 1987 bedtime-story classic THE PRINCESS BRIDE. Fred remarked, "while my participation in this film was anything but voluntary, I am happy to learn that Fudge Cancer will be the beneficiary of this shameless cash grab"

For every ticket sold, $1 will go to the charity Fudge Cancer - previously known as Fuck Cancer, who have graciously changed their name to be more PG-13 friendly for the 12 days of Once Upon A Deadpool's release.
