Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin play longtime best friends who find themselves struggling through their golden years in the Netflix comedy series "The Kominsky Method," for which a final trailer has been released.

The eight-episode half-hour series, which is created and written by sitcom mega-producer Chuck Lorre (The Big Bang Theory, Mom, Two and a Half Men), revolves around the relationship between Sandy Kominsky (Douglas), an aging Hollywood acting teacher and Norman Newlander (Arkin), Sandy's longtime agent who is also his oldest and grumpiest friend.

Sarah Baker (Young Sheldon, Big Little Lies) and Lisa Edelstein (House, Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce) co-stars as the contentious adult daughters of Sandy and Norman. The supporting cast also includes Nancy Travis and Susan Sullivan with a guest appearance by Danny DeVito as Sandy's doctor.

Chuck Lorre also directs the premiere episode of "The Kominsky Method," which is slated to start streaming this Friday on Netflix.

The sun isn't setting yet on the once famous Sandy Kominsky and his longtime agent Norman Newlander.

Academy Award-Winners Michael Douglas (Kominsky) and Alan Arkin (Newlander) star as two friends tackling life's inevitable curveballs as they navigate their later years in Los Angeles, a city that values youth and beauty.

Both comedic and emotional, THE KOMINSKY METHOD is an 8-episode, half-hour single camera show created by 8-time Emmy Award Nominee Chuck Lorre (The Big Bang Theory, Mom, Two and a Half Men).
