Before he goes underwater to take the throne of Atlantis, "Aquaman" star Jason Momoa will first trek across the icy terrain of North America to foil a brutal 18th-century fur-trading war in the third season of Netflix's historical Canadian series "Frontier," for which a trailer has been released.

Created by Rob and Peter Blackie, the gritty adventure drama sees Momoa as a half-Irish, half-Native American outlaw and former fur-trapper named Declan Harp who wages a war against his former bosses: Canada's own Hudson's Bay Company.

The cast of the Netflix series also includes Landon Liboiron (Hemlock Grove), Zoe Boyle (Downton Abbey), and Alun Armstrong (Sleepy Hollow, Braveheart), with guest appearances from Michael Raymond-James (Once Upon a Time, Terriers) and Temuera Morrison (Aquaman, Moana).

Featuring six all-new hour-long episodes, "Frontier: Season 3" is set to premiere next week on Netflix, beginning Friday, November 23rd.

The battle for profit and power spans continents as ferocious outlaw Declan Harp takes his fight against the Hudson's Bay Company across the Atlantic.
