Netflix has unveiled the first official teaser trailer for "Kingdom," an upcoming Korean medieval horror series.

Created and written by Kim Eun-hee (Signal), the drama is set during Korea's Joseon dynasty, and stars South Korean actor Ju Ji-hoon (Along with the Gods, The Spy Gone North) as a crown prince who is left to fend his kingdom against a sudden zombie outbreak.

Composed of six 50-minute episodes, the first season of "Kingdom" is directed by acclaimed Korean filmmaker Kim Seong-hun, whose films include 2016's survival thriller "The Tunnel" and 2014's crime thriller "A Hard Day."

Netflix has already gone ahead and green-lit a second season as the streaming company is set to premiere "Kingdom" on January 25, 2019.

synopsis:
The deceased king rises and a mysterious plague begins to spread. The prince must face a new breed of enemies to unveil the evil and save his people.
