Syfy has unveiled a new official trailer for "Deadly Class," the teen-assassin action series executive produced by "Avengers: Infinity War" directors Joe and Anthony Russo.
The 1980s-set Syfy drama, which is based on the best-selling comic book series of the same name by writer/artist Rick Remender and illustrator Wes Craig, stars Benjamin Wadsworth (MTV's Teen Wolf) as a teenage runaway named Marcus Lopez Arguello who gets the opportunity to enroll in an elite private high school in San Francisco, only to discover that it's a secret training academy for teen assassins.
"No matter the stakes, the weak always choke in the face of killing," says "Doctor Strange" actor Benedict Wong who plays the school's headmaster, Master Lin. "You all committed the cardinal sin -- you were caught."
The cast also includes Lana Condor (X-Men: Apocalypse), Michel Duval (Queen of the South), Maria Gabriela de Faria (Yo Soy Franky), Luke Tennie (Shock and Awe), Liam James (The Killing) and Taylor Hickson (Deadpool).
Lee Toland Krieger (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Riverdale) directs the first episode of the Syfy series, which is due to premiere Wednesday, January 16th.
