Vanessa Hudgens switches places with her royal doppelganger in the official trailer for Netflix's new Christmastime movie "The Princess Switch."

The former "High School Musical" star plays a working-class Chicago baker who suddenly discovers that she looks exactly like an aristocratic princess (also played here by Hudgens). After randomly bumping into each other, the two identical strangers become fast friends and agree to switch places. On the week before Christmas, the American baker impersonates the soon-to-be-married Duchess, and vice versa. Hilarity ensues.

Directed by TV helmer Mike Rohl (Smallville, Eureka, Supernatural), and co-starring Sam Palladio and Nick Sagar, "The Princess Switch" is set to premiere November 16th on Netflix.

synopsis:
One week before Christmas, Margaret, the gorgeous Duchess of Montenaro, switches places with Stacy, a "commoner" from Chicago, who looks exactly like her. With the assistance of a magical Santa's helper, Margaret falls in love with Stacy’s handsome co-worker, while Stacy falls in love with Margaret's fiance, the dashing Prince.
