Netflix has released a brand-new trailer for "The Ballad of Buster Scruggs," the new stylish western anthology comedy that hails from Oscar-winning filmmakers Joel and Ethan Coen (No Country for Old Men, True Grit).

Featuring six tall tales set in the American Old West, the Netflix film boasts a star-studded cast that includes the likes of Tim Blake Nelson, James Franco, Liam Neeson, Tom Waits, Zoe Kazan, Tyne Daly, Brendan Gleeson and Clancy Brown.

Winner of the Best Screenplay Award at this year's Venice Film Festival, "Buster Scruggs" is divided into six chapters, with each installment telling a different wild wild west story.

The film revolves around a cast of eccentric characters, which include a guitar-strumming gunslinger (played by Blake Nelson), a clueless bank robber (Franco), an unlucky prospector (Waits), a travelling stage performer (Neeson), a young starry-eyed frontier woman (Kazan), and a stagecoach-riding spinster (Daly).

Tipped as a potential awards contender, "The Ballad of Buster Scruggs" opens in exclusive limited theatrical engagements starting this Friday, November 8th. It will then premiere on Netflix next week, November 16th.

The Ballad of Buster Scruggs is a six-part Western anthology film, a series of tales about the American frontier told through the unique and incomparable voice of Joel and Ethan Coen. Each chapter tells a distinct story about the American West.
