A brand-new trailer has been released for "I Am The Night," TNT's upcoming limited crime series from "Wonder Woman" director Patty Jenkins.
Inspired by the notorious Black Dahlia case, the six-episode suspense thriller stars "Wonder Woman" actor Chris Pine as a washed-up L.A. reporter who comes in contact with a mysterious teenage girl (played by India Eisley) and discovers a connection between her dark family history and the unsolved 1947 murder of Elizabeth Short, a.k.a. the Black Dahlia.
The series, which also stars Jefferson Mays, Leland Orser, and Connie Nielsen, is also loosely inspired by the incredible true story of Fauna Hodel, a young white teenage girl who was raised by a black family and grew up believing she was bi-racial, but later discovered her biological grandfather was Dr. George Hodel, a prominent Hollywood gynecologist who is believed by many to be the notorious "Black Dahlia" killer.
Patty Jenkins directs the premiere episode of the series, which is set to air in January 2019 on TNT.
