A brand-new international trailer has been released for "The Front Runner," director Jason Reitman's upcoming political drama that stars Hugh Jackman as former 1988 Democratic presidential candidate Gary Hart.
The film, which also stars Oscar-winner J.K. Simmons as Hart's long-time campaign manager, Vera Farming as Hart's wife, and Sara Paxton as Hart's secret mistress, tells the true story of how a major tabloid scandal utterly derailed Senator Hart's presidential chances, despite the fact that the polls had him as the clear front runner.
Based on the book "All The Truth Is Out: The Week Politics Went Tabloid" by journalist Matt Bai, the film also co-stars Steve Zissis, Bill Burr, Mamoudou Athie, and Alfred Molina.
"The Front Runner" is hitting theaters November 7, on the same week of the U.S. Midterm Election.
