Emma Roberts (American Horror Story, Scream Queens) and Michael Angarano (I'm Dying Up Here, This is Us) play a young couple on the verge of breaking up, while Dree Hemingway (Listen Up Philip, Starlet) and Patrick Gibson (The OA, The Darkest Minds) play a young couple at the start of their courtship in the indie romantic drama "In a Relationship."

The film, written and directed by first-time feature filmmaker Sam Boyd, takes place over the course of a single summer in Los Angeles and follows the lives of two sets of twenty-something couples at two different stages of dating.

Co-starring Jay Ellis (Insecure) and Gayle Rankin (GLOW), "In a Relationship," which premiered to strong reviews at this year's Tribeca Film Festival, will be released in theaters and On-Demand November 9th. Watch the trailer, above.

When long time couple Owen and Hallie (Emma Roberts, Michael Angarano) decide to take a break, their friends Matt and Willa (Patrick Gibson, Dree Hemingway) embark on an unexpected romance of their own. The two couples' fates intertwine over the course of a single summer in Los Angeles.
