Check out the official trailer for "A Dog's Way Home," a new heartwarming canine-centric dramedy based on the best-selling novel by "A Dog's Purpose" author W. Bruce Cameron.

Featuring the voice of Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World) as Bella, the dog, the film tells the touching story about how a hyperactive pooch is accidentally separated from her human family, and sets out on an epic 400-mile journey to return home.

Veteran character actor-turned-film director Charles Martin Smith (Dolphin Tale 1 & 2, Air Bud) helms the upcoming family-friendly film, which stars Jonah Hauer-King, Ashley Judd, and Alexandra Shipp.

"A Dog's Way Home" arrives in theaters on January 11, 2019.
