Netflix has released the official trailer for "Best. Worst. Weekend. Ever.," a new eight-episode limited comedy series about four young superhero-obsessed friends going to a comic book convention on the last weekend before they are to start the first year of high school. Of course, things don't go exactly as planned, hence the show's title.

Created by animation writers Robin Stein (Mission Hill, 6Teen) and Dan Franklin (Detentionaire), and executive produced and directed by filmmaker Jeremy Garelick (The Wedding Ringer), the Netflix series stars Sam Ashe Arnold (An Elephant's Journey), Cole Sand (Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia), Brianna Reed (The Mindy Project), and stand-up comic Brittany Garms.

"Best. Worst. Weekend. Ever." will start streaming October 19th only on Netflix.

"Best. Worst. Weekend. Ever." follows four friends as they make the most of their last weekend before high school. A comic convention has come to town, and they will do whatever it takes to be part of the magic. But after a wild party, a lost dog and a destroyed house, their friendship is put to the test.
