As a way to mend their strained relationship, a couple jets off on a romantic weekend getaway to Italy where they stay at a picturesque villa. Their vacation, however, takes a dark turn when an unwanted visitor shows up with ulterior and sinister motives.

Check out the trailer for "Welcome Home," a vacation-gone-wrong thriller that stars former "Breaking Bad" star Aaron Paul and model-turned-actress-turned-activist Emily Ratajkowski (Gone Girl).

Co-starring Italian actor Riccardo Scamarcio (John Wick: Chapter 2, Netflix's Master of None) as the couple's new nefarious house guest, the film is directed by filmmaker George Ratliff, who previously made 2007's creepy-boy horror thriller "Joshua" which starred Sam Rockwell and Vera Farmiga.

"Welcome Home" is being released exclusively on DirecTV's On-Demand service beginning October 18th. It will then open in select theaters and VOD on November 16th.

synopsis:
Desperate to reignite the spark in their crumbling relationship, Bryan (Aaron Paul) and Cassie (Emily Ratajkowski) rent a beautiful, romantic villa in the Italian countryside using a home-sharing website called "Welcome Home."

Soon after settling in, Cassie befriends Federico (Riccardo Scamarcio), the kind, handsome stranger who lives just down the road. Bryan is instantly threatened by Federico's good looks and charm, and Cassie becomes upset by Bryan's jealousy.

Federico uses this jealousy to manipulate the couple into turning against each other. Bryan and Cassie find themselves caught in a sexy, voyeuristic, and increasingly dangerous game of cat and mouse where they discover the person you love the most may be the person you can trust the least.
