From the executive producers of the hit CW show "Riverdale" comes a new teen horror series offering a darker and spookier take on the beloved Archie Comics character, Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

Netflix has released the official trailer for "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina," which stars former "Mad Men" actress Kiernan Shipka as Sabrina Spellman, a half-witch, half-mortal teenage girl who is trying to live a normal life as a sophomore at Baxter High, despite the fact that on her impending 16th birthday she will be forced to choose between devoting herself to the witch world of her family or devoting herself to the human world of her high school friends.

The cast also includes former Disney Channel star Ross Lynch as Sabrina's human high-school boyfriend Harvey, while Lucy Davis (from "Wonder Woman") and Miranda Otto (from "The Lord of the Rings" movies) co-star as Hilda and Zelda Spellman, Sabrina's two witch aunts.

Produced by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Riverdale) and based on his 2014 Archie horror comic book series of the same name, "The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" has already been green-lit by Netflix for two seasons. Season One is set to debut on Friday, October 26th.

The first two hour-long episodes of "Sabrina" is directed by filmmaker Lee Toland Krieger (The Age of Adaline, Celeste & Jesse Forever), who also previously helmed several episodes of "Riverdale."
