Go behind the scenes of Netflix's new horror series "The Haunting of Hill House," which comes from cult horror filmmaker Mike Flanagan, of "Gerald's Game," "Ouija: Origin of Evil," and "Oculus."

Inspired by Shirley Jackson's classic 1959 Gothic horror novel of the same name, the Netflix series revolves around five emotionally-scarred adult siblings who were raised in an infamous haunted house.

Boasting a strong ensemble cast that includes the likes of Carla Gugino, Michiel Huisman, Timothy Hutton, Elizabeth Reaser, Kate Siegel, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, and Henry Thomas, the supernatural horror will run for ten episodes, all of which were directed by Flanagan.

"The Haunting of Hill House" is coming to Netflix next week, streaming on Friday, October 12th.

The Haunting of Hill House is a modern reimagining of Shirley Jackson's legendary novel of the same name, about five siblings who grew up in the most famous haunted house in America. Now adults, they're reunited by the suicide of their youngest sister, which forces them to finally confront the ghosts of their own pasts ... some which lurk in their minds ... and some which may really be lurking in the shadows of the iconic Hill House.
