Check out the official trailer for the first feature-length installment of Hulu's new holiday-themed horror anthology series called "Into the Dark," which premieres this Friday, October 5th.

Produced by Blumhouse, the people who brought you "The Purge" and "Paranormal Activity" film series, "Into the Dark" will feature 12 standalone horror stories, with each feature-length episode set on a different holiday and month.

The anthology series kicks off this week with "The Body," a Halloween-themed feature-length episode that stars British actor Tom Bateman (Murder on the Orient Express, Snatched) as a sadistic hitman trying to transport a tightly cellophane-wrapped dead body during a Halloween costume party filled with obnoxious guests.

"The Body" is directed by horror filmmaker Paul Davis working from a script he co-wrote with Paul Fischer. It also stars Ray Santiago, Aurora Perrineau, Rebecca Rittenhouse, David Hull, Harvey Guillen, Max Adler, and Sasha Grey.

Hulu is planning to release new installments every month. 12 months. 12 tales. The fear begins October 5th, only on Hulu.
