He may have never shot a sheriff or any deputies, but the investigation of the near fatal shooting of the legendary musician Bob Marley has always been up in smoke.

Check out the trailer for the first installment of Netflix's new investigative docu-series "ReMastered," which will feature an in-depth look into the history behind some of the most iconic names in music.

Directed by Kief Davidson ("Open Heart," "A Lego Brickumentary," and "The Ivory Game"), "Who Shot the Sheriff?: A Bob Marley Story" is the first of Netflix's eight episode series and focuses on the investigation on who is responsible for the home invasion assault that nearly took the lives of the Iconic Jamaican singer-songwriter Bob Marley, his wife, and manager.

"Who Shot the Sheriff?: A Bob Marley Story" is set to premiere on October 12th on Netflix.
