DC Universe's TITANS — Character Promos

DC Entertainment has released a couple of new character promos for the new streaming superhero series "Titans," which is based on the popular comic book franchise that features Robin, Raven, Beast Boy, and Starfire.

Set to launch as DC's main flagship series for their newly-minted subscription-based streaming service, DC Universe, "Titans" stars Australian actor Brenton Thwaites (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Maleficent) as Dick Grayson aka 'Robin'; newcomer Teagan Croft (Science Fiction Volume One: The Osiris Child) as Rachel Roth aka 'Raven'; Ryan Potter (Big Hero 6) as Garfield Logan aka 'Beast Boy', and Anna Diop (24: Legacy) as Koriand'r aka 'Starfire.'

The ten-episode series, which offers a darker and grittier take on these DC Comics superheroes, follows former sidekick Robin/Dick Grayson, as he splits from Batman and finds himself starting his own super team of crime fighters.

Executive produced by acclaimed comic book writer Geoff Johns along with mega-producers Greg Berlanti and Akiva Goldsman, "Titans," which will feature the appearance of Batman's new 'Robin' replacement, Jason Todd (played by Curran Walters), is slated for an October 12th premiere, only on DC Universe.
