Check out the newly-released official trailer for the latest chapter of Syfy's acclaimed horror anthology series "Channel Zero."

Based on the popular internet urban legends known as creepypastas, "The Dream Door" is the show's fourth self-contained season, which consists of six hour-long episodes.

Horror filmmaker E.L. Katz (of "Cheap Thrills" and "Small Crimes") is directing the entire fourth season, which revolves around a newlywed couple (played by Brandon Scott and Maria Sten) whose life is suddenly upended when they discover a mysterious door in their basement, which turns out to be a gateway to a hideous monster.

The cast of "The Dream Door" also includes Steven Weber (13 Reasons Why, iZombie), Steven Robertson (Elementary), and horror vet Barbara Crampton (From Beyond, Re-Animator).

Created and written by Nick Antosca (Hannibal), "Channel Zero" is set to return on Friday, October 26th -- with a new episode to air every night until its finale on Halloween, October 31st.

Based on the "creepypasta" short story Hidden Door by Charlotte Bywater, Channel Zero: The Dream Door follows newlyweds Jillian (Maria Sten) and Tom (Brandon Scott), who have each brought secrets into their marriage. When they discover a strange door in their basement, those secrets start to threaten their relationship -- and their lives.
