A brand-new international trailer has been released for "Halloween," director David Gordon Green's much-buzzed-about horror reboot-sequel that features the return of Jamie Lee Curtis as sole Halloween massacre survivor Laurie Strode who, after 40 long years, gets to exact her revenge on the boogeyman who traumatized her -- the infamous serial killer Michael Myers.

While discarding every sequel in the "Halloween" franchise, the film picks up four decades after the events of the original 1978 film. Laurie Strode, now a tough-as-nails grandmother, learns that Michael Myers is back! He has escaped a maximum-security prison, and is now loose on the streets.

It's Halloween night. Children are everywhere. And people are unaware of the danger. It's up to Laurie to finally put an end to the evil. And it's time for Laurie to have her final confrontation with her masked abuser.

Executive produced by "Halloween" creator/filmmaker John Carpenter, who also served as a creative consultant and also returned to compose a new original score, the new "Halloween" reboot, in which Gordon Green wrote the screenplay with self-proclaimed "Halloween" superfan Danny McBride and "Vice Principals" scribe Jeff Fradley, is hitting theaters worldwide on October 19th.
