Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) promises to let the devil out in the new official Season 3 teaser for Marvel's "Daredevil."

"There's only one true way to end evil. To finish it for good," says a bloodied and scraped up Murdock in the new minute-long tease. Of course, to end evil, Murdock must relinquish everything good about himself, and give into his devilish impulses.

The new season, which will have TV producer-writer Erik Oleson (Arrow, The Man in the High Castle) serving as the show's new showrunner, is rumored to be based -- or at least, loosely based on Daredevil's famous "Born Again" story-line, in which mob-villain Wilson Fisk (aka Kingpin) destroys Murdock's entire life, leaving him emotionally and physically shattered. But with the help of his long-lost mother, Sister Maggie Murdock, who's been secretly living as a nun, Murdock is able to get back on his feet to exact his bone-snapping revenge.

It's been reported that Vincent D'Onofrio will return as Wilson Fisk, and English actress Joanne Whalley (The Borgias, Willow) has been cast to play Sister Maggie.

"Daredevil: Season 3" is now set to be released on October 19th, only on Netflix.
