The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo has met her match! And it's a sisterly reunion like no other.

Check out the new official trailer for "The Girl in the Spider's Web," a new dark mystery thriller that features a twisty suspenseful crime tale featuring the famed vigilante hacker Lisbeth Salander. This time, she is played by Claire Foy, the Golden Globe-and-Emmy-winning British actress of the Netflix series "The Crown," and who also stars in the upcoming Neil Armstrong biopic "First Man."

The film is based on the fourth book in the best-selling "Millennium" series, which was originated by the late, Swedish author Stieg Larsson. Published in 2015 and written by Swedish novelist David Lagercrantz, "The Girl in the Spider's Web" is also the first book written since Larsson's death in 2004. Larsson, who died from a sudden heart attack, wrote the first three Lisbeth Salander novels, the Millennium trilogy. Lagercrantz has since taken over the book series.

Directed by Uruguayan-born helmer Fede Alvarez, whose credits include the acclaimed horror thrillers "Don't Breathe" and 2013's "Evil Dead" remake, the film also stars Swedish actor Sverrir Gudnason (Borg vs McEnroe) as crusading journalist Mikael Blomkvist, which is the same character that Daniel Craig played in David Fincher's 2011 version of "Dragon Tattoo."

"The Girl in the Spider's Web" finds Foy's Lisbeth Salander confronting her dark past as she discovers she is being hunted down by a mysterious new rival (played by Blade Runner 2049's Sylvia Hoeks), who is someone with close ties to Lisbeth's childhood. Lakeith Stanfield (Get Out, Sorry to Bother You) also co-stars in the film as a tenacious NSA officer trying to track Lisbeth down.

"The Girl in the Spider's Web" arrives in theaters November 9th.
