From Blumhouse, the producers of "The Purge," "Happy Death Day," and "Paranormal Activity," comes a holiday-themed horror anthology series for Hulu.

Check out the first official teaser trailer for "Into the Dark," a new streaming series that features 12 standalone horror stories, with each super-sized episode set on a different holiday and month.

Featuring a huge lineup of guest stars that include Dermot Mulroney, Jimmi Simpson, Meredith Salenger, Tom Bateman, Rebecca Rittenhouse, Aurora Perrineau, Ray Santiago, and many more, the 12 episode series will be released on a monthly basis, with each installment to be set against that particular month's holiday. Each installment will also feature a different team of writers, directors and actors.

Hulu plans to launch "Into the Dark" in October with its first episode, titled "The Body," which casts Tom Bateman (Murder on the Orient Express) as a hitman trying to transport a dead body on Halloween night.

Then in November, Episode Two, titled "Flesh & Blood," will be released. It will star Dermot Mulroney (Insidious: Chapter 3) as a father trying to enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner with his agoraphobic teenage daughter.

Episode three will feature a Christmas-themed horror tale; Episode Four will be set on New Year's Eve, and so on and so forth.

12 months. 12 tales. The fear begins October 5th, only on Hulu.
