Check out the final trailer for "Hunter Killer," a submarine thriller that stars Gerard Butler, Gary Oldman, Common, Linda Cardellini, and Toby Stephens.
Directed by South African filmmaker Donovan Marsh (Avenged, Spud), the film follows an American submarine captain (played by Butler) as he is tasked with tracking down a missing U.S. sub through enemy territory, only to have his orders change drastically when a military coup in Russia threatens to start World War III.
Based on the novel "Firing Point" by Don Keith and George Wallace, "Hunter Killer" is scheduled to open in theaters on October 26th.
synopsis:
Deep under the Arctic Ocean, American submarine Captain Joe Glass (Gerard Butler) is on the hunt for a U.S. sub in distress when he discovers a secret Russian coup is in the offing, threatening to dismantle the world order. With crew and country on the line, Captain Glass must now assemble an elite group of Navy SEALs to rescue the kidnapped Russian president and sneak through enemy waters to stop WWIII.
