Check out the first official teaser trailer for "Captive State," a post-alien invasion thriller from British director Rupert Wyatt, of "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" fame.
The upcoming film stars John Goodman (10 Cloverfield Lane, Roseanne), Vera Farmiga (Bates Motel, The Conjuring Films), Jonathan Majors (White Boy Rick), and Ashton Sanders (Moonlight).
Set ten years after Earth is invaded by a mysterious space alien force, known as The Legislature, who has now taken control of most of the major cities around the world, the sci-fi thriller centers on a Chicago neighborhood where residents are either categorized as "collaborators" or "dissidents."
Co-written by Wyatt and Erica Beeney (The Battle of Shaker Heights), "Captive State" is scheduled to open in theaters on March 29, 2019. Watch the trailer, above.
