Netflix has released the first official trailer for "Hilda," a new cartoon adventure series based on the critically acclaimed graphic novels by British cartoonist Luke Pearson.

Starring the voice of English kid actress Bella Ramsey (a.k.a. Lady Lyanna Mormont on HBO's "Game of Thrones"), the animated fantasy children's series follows the adventures of a plucky, wildly inventive and artistic blue-haired girl named Hilda, who must leave her small village home in a magical wilderness to move to the big city with her mother. Once there, Hilda makes an effort to meet new friends, some of whom are just as fanciful as her old friends from the enchanted forest.

Produced by Silvergate Media, the makers of the popular British animated children's series "Octonauts," in collaboration with the Canada-based animation studio, Mercury Filmworks, "Hilda" is set to premiere next week, beginning September 21st only on Netflix.
