Blind lawyer-turned-vigilante Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) gives in to his devilish alter-ego in the official Season 3 teaser for the Marvel superhero series "Daredevil."

"Darkness only responds to darkness," says a bloodied and battered Murdock, who is seen sitting in a confessional booth in this 30-second clip, which was tacked on at the end of Iron Fist: Season 2. "And the truth is I'd rather die as the devil than live as Matt Murdock."

It seems Season 3 of the hit Netflix series will not only feature the much-awaited return of the Devil Of Hell's Kitchen, but it will also be a much different and darker version of the blind Marvel hero, who was thought to have died at the end of "The Defenders" miniseries last year, yet the final minutes of that show saw Murdock waking up in bandages at a mysterious nunnery.

Details of Season 3 have yet to be revealed. But many fans are predicting the new season will be based on Daredevil's famous "Born Again" story-line, in which Murdock sees his entire life decimated by mob-villain Wilson Fisk, though he eventually puts himself back together with the help of his long-lost mother, Sister Maggie Murdock.

"Daredevil: Season 3" doesn't have an official release date, as of yet, but it's expected to be "coming soon," possibly at the end of the year.
