The official trailer has been released for "Quincy," the Netflix original documentary that's exploring the life and career of 85-year-old entertainment producer and music legend Quincy Jones.

Directed by actress Rashida Jones (who is also Quincy's own daughter) and co-directed by award-winning documentary filmmaker Alan Hicks (Keep on Keepin' On), the Netflix film offers an intimate look into the legendary Grammy-winning producer's life, chronicling his musical journey from his early days as a Jazz trumpeter from the South Side of Chicago to eventually making a name for himself as a gifted music arranger and conductor.

Quincy, of course, became one of the biggest and most influential record producers in history, who has worked with the likes of Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, Aretha Franklin, and countless others. And later in his career, he became a well-known film and television producer, who produced "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" and "The Color Purple" and was responsible for giving Oprah Winfrey and Will Smith their first big breaks in Hollywood.

Featuring archival footage and photos from the family private estate and exclusive interviews with the man himself, along with some of his biggest supporters and closest friends, "Quincy" is premiering September 21 on Netflix.
