It's the face-off you've all been waiting for! The final showdown between iconic masked boogeyman killer Michael Myers and massacre survivor Laurie Strode -- and you can bet your bottom dollar, it's going to get brutal!

Feast your eyeballs on a brand-new trailer for "Halloween," the much-anticipated horror reboot/sequel from director David Gordon Green (Stronger, Pineapple Express), which features the return of Jamie Lee Curtis as an elderly Laurie Strode who's been waiting 40 years to exact her revenge. Victim no more!

The film, which is executive produced by John Carpenter who is also serving as a creative consultant and produced by Jason Blum's Blumhouse Productions, takes place four decades after the events of the original "Halloween" movie -- and so, it's basically treating like the other sequels didn't exist.

After being locked up for 40 years, Mike Myers (once again performed by 70-year-old filmmaker Nick Castle, who, back then, was Carpenter's former film school classmate and was hired to play the famed knife-wielding killer in the 1978 original) has managed to escape a maximum-security prison, and is now on the loose on Halloween night. So, it's up to a pistol-toting Laurie Strode (Curtis) to finally put an end to all of this evil.

Co-starring Will Patton, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, and Virginia Gardner, "Halloween" arrives in theaters October 19th.
