A brand-new final trailer has been released for "The Nutcracker and the Four Realms," Disney's new fairy-tale extravaganza that's based on E.T.A. Hoffmann's 1816 fantasy novel, which was turned into a famous Tchaikovsky ballet, typically preformed during the Christmas season.

The film stars Mackenzie Foy (Interstellar, The Twilight Saga) as a young, imaginative teenage girl named Clara, who goes on a dangerous quest to find a one-of-a-kind key after being magically transported to a fantasy world ruled by the evil Mother Ginger (played by Oscar-winner Helen Mirren).

Co-directed by Lasse Hallstrom (Chocolat, The Hundred-Foot Journey) and Joe Johnston (October Sky, Captain America), who was later brought in to direct re-shoots, the film also stars Keira Knightley, newcomer Jayden Fowora-Knight, famed ballerina Misty Copeland, and Oscar-winner Morgan Freeman.

"The Nutcracker and the Four Realms" opens worldwide on November 2nd.

synopsis:
All Clara (Mackenzie Foy) wants is a key -- a one-of-a-kind key that will unlock a box that holds a priceless gift from her late mother. A golden thread, presented to her at godfather Drosselmeyer's (Morgan Freeman) annual holiday party, leads her to the coveted key -- which promptly disappears into a strange and mysterious parallel world. It's there that Clara encounters a soldier named Phillip (Jayden Fowora-Knight), a gang of mice and the regents who preside over three Realms: Land of Snowflakes, Land of Flowers and Land of Sweets. Clara and Phillip must brave the ominous Fourth Realm, home to the tyrant Mother Ginger (Helen Mirren), to retrieve Clara's key and hopefully return harmony to the unstable world.
