Ben Foster is a hitman with a last-minute change of heart after meeting a young hooker, played by Elle Fanning, in the new crime thriller "Galveston."

Check out the first international trailer for the forthcoming film, which was just released for the foreign markets and future festival screenings.

The film follows Ben Foster as Roy Cady, a hitman who narrowly escapes his own hit when he finds himself setup by one of his employers. Also, set up to be one of the whacked is a teenage hooker named Raquel Arceneaux (Elle Fanning), who Roy decides to rescue and help get out of town before their pursuers can get another shot at them.

Directed by French actress-turned filmmaker Melanie Laurent (Inglourious Basterds), and written by "True Detective" creator Nic Pizzolatto, which is based on his novel of the same name, "Galveston" is set to screen at TIFF next week, and a U.S. release is currently scheduled for sometime in October.

After surviving a setup by his criminal boss, a hitman rescues a young prostitute and flees with her to Galveston, Texas, where the two find strength in each other as dangerous pursuers and the shadows of their pasts follow close behind.
