Marvel's Iron Fist: Season 2 — Behind-the-Scenes Featurette

Netflix has released a behind-the-scenes featurette for Season 2 of Marvel's "Iron Fist," offering an introduction to the show's new stunt coordinator Clayton Barber.

"I come from a fight background my whole life. For this season, I wanted to come here and do something a little bit different, " says Barber in the new preview.

It looks like Barber, who also had served as stunt coordinator on Marvel's "Black Panther" and "Creed," has brought a New York type of edge to the fight choreography, adding more grit and a "punk rock" energy to the Netflix show. And from what we can tell, it should give fans the "visceral" experience they very much hoped for.

"It's exciting for me. To do that in the action sequence. To push [the actors] to the limit," intones Barber. "And I think that the audiences will really understand and believe the action is one of the stars."

Featuring returning cast members Finn Jones, Jessica Henwick, and Sacha Dhawan, Marvel's "Iron Fist: Season 2" will see Danny Rand returning to New York City to serve as one of its super-powered protectors (now that Daredevil is gone), only to have his past come back to haunt him -- and quite possibly kill him too.

"Iron Fist" is set to return September 7th, only on Netflix.

synopsis:
Fifteen years after being presumed dead in a plane crash, Danny Rand (Finn Jones) mysteriously returns to New York City determined to reclaim his birthright and family company. However, when a long-destined enemy rises in New York, this living weapon is forced to choose between his family's legacy and his duties as the Iron Fist.
