Bad Times at the El Royale — New Official Trailer

Seven strangers. Seven secrets. But only one hotel, with only one honeymoon suite. Yes, the night is going to get a whole lot worse before it gets a whole lot better.

Check out the new official trailer for "Bad Times at the El Royale," a stylish and twisty neo-noir thriller that features a strong ensemble cast, led by Oscar-winner Jeff Bridges, Thor's Chris Hemsworth, Fifty Shades' Dakota Johnson, Mad Men's Jon Hamm, and Tony-winning Broadway star Cynthia Erivo.

The upcoming thriller -- which takes place over the course of one stormy night, during which seven not-so-honest strangers find themselves staying at an old-fashioned desert hotel -- is written and directed by Drew Goddard, the Oscar-nominated screenwriter of "The Martian," who also wrote and directed the cult horror movie "The Cabin in the Woods."

Bridges plays a bank robber on the run, who is masquerading as a priest. Hemsworth plays a hippie cult leader. Johnson is a pistol-carrying damsel in distress. Erivo is an aspiring Motown singer, while Hamm plays the shifty hotel manager.

Nick Offerman, Cailee Spaeny, and Lewis Pullman round out the cast of the film, which feels a little bit like "Twilight Zone" meets "Pulp Fiction."

"Bad Times at the El Royale" is coming to theaters October 5th.

Seven strangers, each with a secret to bury, meet at Lake Tahoe's El Royale, a rundown hotel with a dark past. Over the course of one fateful night, everyone will have a last shot at redemption -- before everything goes to hell!
