Here's your chance to find out where the new horror movie "The Nun" fits into "The Conjuring" universe.
Check out a newly-released behind-the-scenes featurette for the latest chapter in the James Wan-produced horror saga, which stars Oscar-nominated Mexican actor Demian Bichir (A Better Life) and "American Horror Story" actress Taissa Farmiga as a Catholic priest and a young novice who are sent by the Vatican to investigate the mysterious death of a Romanian nun in 1952.
Written by horror scribe Gary Dauberman (IT, Annabelle) and directed by British horror filmmaker Corin Hardy (The Hallow), the upcoming supernatural thriller will again see character actress Bonnie Aarons reprising her role as Valak, the Demon Nun.
"The Nun" arrives in theaters September 7th.
synopsis:
When a young nun at a cloistered abbey in Romania takes her own life, a priest with a haunted past and a novitiate on the threshold of her final vows are sent by the Vatican to investigate. Together they uncover the order's unholy secret. Risking not only their lives but their faith and their very souls, they confront a malevolent force in the form of the same demonic nun that first terrorized audiences in "The Conjuring 2," as the abbey becomes a horrific battleground between the living and the damned.
