Joey King (star of the recent horror movie "Slender Man" and the hit Netflix teen flick "The Kissing Booth") plays a 16-year-old girl who becomes increasingly curious about dating boys when she receives some unexpected sex advice from her dying grandmother in the trailer for "Summer '03."

Written and directed by first-time feature filmmaker Becca Gleason, the coming-of-age dramedy takes place during the summer of 2003, centering on a teenage girl, named Jamie (King), who, following the death of her plain-spoken, sex-positive grandmother (played by "Nebraska" actress June Squibb), has decided to spend the summer break exploring the thrills of sex and her own sexuality.

Andrea Savage (Veep), Erin Darke (Dietland), Paul Scheer (The League), and Jack Kilmer (Palo Alto) also star.

"Summer '03," which premiered at this year's South by Southwest Film Festival, will be released in select theaters on September 28th.
