True-crime documentary filmmakers Peter Maldonado and Sam Ecklund are back! And this time, they're taking on the mysterious case of the elusive "turd burglar."

Check out the official trailer for Season 2 of Netflix's hit, Emmy-nominated and Peabody Award-winning true-crime spoof series "American Vandal."

Created by Tony Yacenda and Dan Perrault and executive produced by Dan Lagana, Season 2 will once again follow teenage documentarians/amateur sleuths Peter and Sam (played by Tyler Alvarez and Griffin Gluck) as they investigate the infamous "brown out" incident, in which students at an elite Catholic school were assaulted by an elaborate poop-related prank, which was orchestrated by a mysterious perpetrator who goes by the online moniker "the turd burglar."

Co-starring Travis Tope, Taylor Dearden, Melvin Gregg, and DeRon Horton, "American Vandal: Season 2" is premiering September 14th, only on Netflix.

Filmmakers Peter Maldonado and Sam Ecklund point their investigative lens at St. Bernadine, a private high school recently terrorized by a vandal known only as The Turd Burglar. Kevin McClain, a junior, has been expelled and awaits trial for the crimes. But is justice being served? Is the system rigged against the disenfranchised? And who is The Turd Burglar?

From creators Tony Yacenda and Dan Perrault, and showrunner Dan Lagana, comes the second season of the Emmy-nominated satirical true crime series, American Vandal.
