Tiffany Haddish plays a tough-love teacher who is literally trying to knock some sense into Kevin Hart in the brand-new trailer for the upcoming comedy "Night School."

The "Girls Trip" star takes a confused-looking Hart into the ring as she starts to punch him in the face while asking him basic academic questions. It's an unconventional method in preparing someone for their G.E.D. test -- but hey, it gets the job done ... eventually.

While playing a struggling salesman turned fast-food chicken chain mascot who has decided that the only way to advance his career is to finally get his G.E.D., but foolishly conspires to cheat on the exam with his night school classmates, Hart gets to share the big screen with fellow comedian and longtime friend Haddish. They previously worked together on Hart's BET reality show spoof "Real Husbands of Hollywood," in which Haddish had a recurring role.

In addition to Hart and Haddish, the film also features comedians Rob Riggle, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Al Madrigal, Romany Malco, Anne Winters, and rapper Fat Joe as Hart's misfit classmates who receive a real lesson in tough love after getting caught cheating by their overly demanding, eagle-eyed teacher (played by Haddish).

Directed by "Girls Trip" helmer Malcolm D. Lee and produced by Hart along with "Girls Trip" mega-producer William Packer, "Night School" is coming to theaters September 28th.
