Marvel's Iron Fist: Season 2 — Official Trailer

Netflix has released the official Season 2 trailer for the Marvel superhero series "Iron Fist," starring Finn Jones as billionaire Buddhist warrior Danny Rand.

The new season will see Danny and Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick) back together in New York City as Danny tries to "keep the peace" and protect the streets at night from dangerous criminals -- especially now that Daredevil is gone.

Danny must also deal with the surprise return of Davos (Sacha Dhawan), his former best friend from K'un-Lun. Davos is more determined than ever to steal the Iron Fist powers from Danny. And if he succeeds, Davos will become the super-villain "Steel Serpent."

"Luke Cage" actress Simone Missick will also make an appearance as hard-nosed detective Misty Knight whose new bionic arm will come in handy when it comes to deflecting blows and high-flying kicks.

The new season of Iron Fist also adds "Star Trek Into Darkness" actress Alice Eve to the cast, who will be playing a mysterious character that has yet to be revealed (though rumors say she's playing super-villain Typhoid Mary).

Executive produced by new showrunner Raven Metzner (Sleepy Hollow, Falling Skies), "Iron Fist: Season 2" is premiering Friday, September 7th only on Netflix.

Fifteen years after being presumed dead in a plane crash, Danny Rand (Finn Jones) mysteriously returns to New York City determined to reclaim his birthright and family company. However, when a long-destined enemy rises in New York, this living weapon is forced to choose between his family's legacy and his duties as the Iron Fist.
