Amazon has released the official teaser trailer for its new original streaming series, which comes from Emmy-winning "Mad Men" creator Matthew Weiner.
Featuring an all-star cast that includes the likes of Diane Lane, Aaron Eckhart, Isabelle Huppert, Christina Hendricks, John Slattery, Amanda Peet, Radha Mitchell, Kerry Bishe, and Corey Stoll -- just to name a few, "The Romanoffs" is an eight-episode anthology series that takes a look at the contemporary lives of several people who claim to be the descendants of the Romanoffs (aka the House of Romanov), a Russian royal family that was executed during the 1917 Russian revolution.
Set within three continents and seven countries and featuring eight separate stories, the entire first season of the series was written and directed by Weiner.
"The Romanoffs" is slated to premiere Friday, October 12th, exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
