Omari Hardwick (star of the hit Starz series "Power") and Meagan Good (of "Think Like a Man" and "Anchorman 2") play a couple of strangers who, over the course of one night in downtown Los Angeles, start to develop a deep, emotional connection with each other in the romantic drama "A Boy. A Girl. A Dream."

Much in the same vein as the Richard Linklater "Before" movies, the upcoming film, which was made to look like it was shot in one take, is a conversation-heavy portrait of two potential lovers -- an L.A. club promoter named Cass (Hardwick) and a Midwestern visitor named Frida (Good) -- who are getting to know each other on the night of the 2016 Presidential election, just as America shifts into a new political climate of divisiveness.

Co-starring Jay Ellis (from HBO's "Insecure"), "A Boy. A Girl. A Dream" is the third feature from writer-director Qasim Basir, who previously made the indie films "Destined" and "Mooz-Lum."

The film, which premiered to mostly positive reviews at this year's Sundance, will arrive in theaters on September 14th. Watch the trailer, above.
