After an unfortunate mishap was caught on video and went viral, an aspiring rapper, with the help of his best friend/manager, tries to overcome his unflattering online reputation to make a new and bigger name for himself.

Check out the trailer for "The After Party," an original Netflix comedy produced by World Star Hip Hop, which stars hip-hop artist Kyle Harvey (aka KYLE) as Owen, a budding rapper looking for his first big break.

Written and directed by Ian Edelman, the creator of the HBO series "How to Make It in America," the Netflix film also stars Harrison Holzer (Sex Tape) as Owen's best friend and manager, Jeff, who is determined to figure out a way to get them into an exclusive New York after party where all the biggest rappers in the world will be there.

Co-starring Shelley Hennig (MTV's Teen Wolf) and dancer/actress Teyana Taylor (Honey: Rise Up and Dance) with guest appearances from real-life rappers Wiz Khalifa, Pusha T, French Montana, DJ Khaled, Desiigner and Jadakiss, "The After Party" will be released on Netflix starting on Friday, August 24th.
