From the mind of Kevin Williamson, the screenwriter of "Scream" and the creator of "Dawson's Creek," "The Vampire Diaries," and "The Following," comes a dark, modern twist on classic fairy tales like "The Three Little Pigs," "Little Red Riding Hood," and "Hansel and Gretel."

Check out the first official trailer for "Tell Me a Story," a new horror-tinged thriller series created and executive produced by Williamson, which will premiere on Halloween exclusively on CBS's new subscription-based streaming service, CBS All Access.

The New York-set, ten-episode drama boasts a strong cast that includes James Wolk (Zoo), Paul Wesley (The Vampire Diaries), Kim Cattrall (Sex and the City), Michael Raymond-James (True Blood), Billy Magnussen (Game Night), Dania Ramirez (Once Upon a Time), Danielle Campbell (The Originals), and Dorian Missick (Luke Cage).

Inspired by multiple fairy tales, yet told with a modern-day twist, "Tell Me A Story" will start streaming Wednesday, October 31st.

CBS All Access Original Series TELL ME A STORY takes the world's most beloved fairy tales and reimagines them as a dark and twisted psychological thriller.

Set in modern-day New York City, the first season of this serialized drama interweaves "The Three Little Pigs," "Little Red Riding Hood" and "Hansel and Gretel" into an epic and subversive tale of love, loss, greed, revenge and murder.
