CBS has released the first official teaser trailer for its new streaming mystery thriller series "One Dollar," which is set to debut later this month on the CBS All Access app.

Created by Jason Mosberg (Arsenal), the drama follows the story of a one-dollar bill as it passes through the hands of several strangers struggling in the same rust-belt industrial town. They are also randomly connected to an unsolved murder case.

Filmmaker Craig Zobel, whose credits include the acclaimed indie thrillers "Compliance" and "Z for Zachariah" and who recently helmed several episodes of the HBO dramas "The Leftovers" and "Westworld," is directing the entire first ten-episode season of "One Dollar."

With each episode depicting a different story, the cast of the series includes John Carroll Lynch (American Horror Story), Leslie Odom Jr. (Murder on the Orient Express), Greg Germann (Ally McBeal), Philip Ettinger (Compliance), Christopher Denham (Billions), Rachel McKeon (Jessica Jones), Kirrilee Berger (K.C. Undercover), Nathaniel Martello-White (Red Tails), Jeff Perry (Scandal), Ashlie Atkinson (BlacKkKlansman), and country rocker Sturgill Simpson.

"One Dollar" is slated to stream Thursday, August 30th exclusively on CBS All Access.
