The upcoming animated comedy "Smallfoot" is turning the legend of the Abominable Snowman on its head as Channing Tatum lends his voice to a kind-hearted, bumbling Yeti named Migo, who sets out to prove if the legend is true -- the legend of the "Smallfoot," that is.

Check out the final trailer for the family-friendly adventure movie, which boasts the voices of Zendaya, Gina Rodriguez, Danny DeVito, Yara Shahidi, Jimmy Tatro, Ely Henry, and basketball superstar LeBron James.

Late night host James Corden also co-stars as the voice of a human mountain climber who accidentally crosses paths with Tatum's Migo. That chance and brief encounter motivates Migo to go on an epic journey to verify the existence of smallfoot beings. It's a subject that has been speculated within the Yeti community for ages.

"Over the Hedge" director Karey Kirkpatrick directs from a screenplay he co-wrote with "Blended" scribe Clare Sera, based off a screen story by filmmakers John Requa & Glenn Ficarra (Bad Santa, NBC's This Is Us) and Kirkpatrick.

Based on the book "Yeti Tracks" by animator Sergio Pablos, "Smallfoot" is hitting theaters September 28. Watch the new trailer, above.

synopsis:
An animated adventure for all ages, with original music and an all-star cast, "Smallfoot" turns the Bigfoot legend upside down when a bright young Yeti (voiced by Channing Tatum) finds something he thought didn't exist -- a human.

News of this "smallfoot" brings him fame and a chance with the girl of his dreams. It also throws the simple Yeti community into an uproar over what else might be out there in the big world beyond their snowy village, in a rollicking story about friendship, courage and the joy of discovery.
