From Matthew Carnahan, the creator of the Showtime dramedy "House of Lies," comes a new limited tech drama depicting the internet browser wars of the 1990s, which was largely fought between the executives behind Microsoft's Internet Explorer and the architects behind Netscape's Navigator.

Check out the first official trailer for "Valley of the Boom," a new original mini-series for National Geographic, starring Lamorne Morris (New Girl), Steve Zahn (War for the Planet of the Apes), and Bradley Whitford (The West Wing, Get Out).

Executive produced by Arianna Huffington, the forthcoming cable drama, which is set during the Silicon Valley boom of the '90s, will incorporate large portions of scripted dramatizations with on-camera interviews from the tech people who saw the events first hand.

Directed and written by Carnahan, the first installment of the six-episode series will premiere later in the year, sometime in the winter.

Valley of the Boom explores the dot-com era during Silicon Valley's unprecedented tech boom of the 1990s and subsequent bust. The six-part limited series, tells the wildly true stories of the epic browser wars and the companies that shaped the internet.
