From Andy Breckman, the creator of the hit detective series "Monk" comes a new Netflix cop comedy, starring veteran TV actor Tony Danza (Taxi, Who's the Boss?) and multi-platinum singer-turned-actor Josh Groban as a father and son who are both New York police detectives, yet subscribe to two very different schools of thought.

Check out the official trailer for "The Good Cop," a ten-episode comedy series that sees Groban, in his first regular TV role, as Tony Jr., an overly-cautious and honest NYPD officer who likes to do everything by the book -- whereas his street-wise father, Tony Sr. (Danza), who is a former crooked NYPD cop, prefers to break every rule in the book. Together, they make an odd couple who end up becoming unofficial partners.

Written and produced by Breckman with Danza serving as one of the executive producers, the Netflix show also stars Monica Barbaro (Chicago P.D.) and Isiah Whitlock Jr. (Veep, The Wire).

"The Good Cop" is scheduled to premiere September 21st on Netflix.
