Inspired by children's author A. A. Milne's classic "Winnie-the-Pooh" stories, the fantasy-tinged British period film pictures the adult version of the fictional boy character of Christopher Robin, played here by Ewan McGregor.
When Christopher Robin, now a devoted family man and over-worked bank manager in London, finds himself stressed out from the demands both of his job and fatherly duties, he is unexpectedly visited by someone he never thought he'd see again -- his old imaginary friend from childhood, Winnie-the-Pooh!
Co-starring Hayley Atwell (Captain America, Agent Carter) as Christopher's wife, Evelyn and featuring the vocal talents of veteran voice actor Jim Cummings as Pooh, the film is helmed by Marc Forster, the acclaimed director of "Finding Neverland" and "World War Z."
"Christopher Robin" arrives in theaters August 3rd.
