While celebrating their one-year anniversary at a remote mountain cabin, a lesbian couple's marriage promptly crumbles when one of them reveals herself to be a psychotic killer.

Check out the newly-released trailer for "What Keeps You Alive," a twisty female-led horror thriller from writer-director Colin Minihan, who is one-half of the filmmaking duo known as The Vicious Brothers, who are behind the cult genre thrillers "Grave Encounters," "Extraterrestrial," and "It Stains the Sands Red."

The film, which premiered at SXSW earlier this year, stars Brittany Allen (It Stains the Sands Red) and Hannah Emily Anderson (Jigsaw) as two lovers-turned-adversaries who become locked in a blood-soaked cat-and-mouse chase.

"What Keeps You Alive" is hitting theaters and VOD on August 24th.
