Model-turned-actress Abbey Lee (Mad Max: Fury Road, The Neon Demon) plays a beautiful shrinking violet who finds herself stuck in a marriage filled with dark secrets in the trailer for "Elizabeth Harvest," which also stars Ciaran Hinds (HBO's Game of Thrones, AMC's The Terror), and Carla Gugino (Sin City, San Andreas).

Filmmaker Sebastian Gutierrez, whose films include the star-studded indies "Hotel Noir," "Girl Walks Into a Bar," "Elektra Luxx," and "Women in Trouble," writes and directs this Gothic horror about a young shy newlywed (Lee) who discovers her well-to-do scientist husband (Hinds) has a secret laboratory hidden inside his luxurious estate. In it holds all sorts of danger and shocking secrets.

Co-starring Matthew Beard (The Imitation Game) and Dylan Baker (TV's The Good Wife), "Elizabeth Harvest," which was received well at this year's SXSW Film Festival, is being released in theaters and VOD on August 10th.

Nothing is as it seems in this brain-bending plunge into our darkest desires. Elizabeth (Abbey Lee), a beautiful young newlywed, arrives at the palatial estate of her brilliant scientist husband Henry (Ciaran Hinds). Ensconced in modernist luxury with an obedient -- if slightly unsettling -- house staff (Carla Gugino and Matthew Beard), she has seemingly everything she could want.

But one mystery tantalizes her: what is behind the locked door to Henry's laboratory that he has forbidden her to enter? When an inquisitive Elizabeth dares to find out, everything she thought she knew about her husband -- and about herself -- will change.
