"Ant-Man and the Wasp" actor Michael Pena is tormented by horrific visions of the future in the newly-released trailer for "Extinction."

The sci-fi thriller is a Netflix original movie that stars Pena as a blue-collar family man who finds out that his recent premonitions of an alien invasion have come true. Now he must find a way to save his wife and young daughters before the entire planet is wiped out by deadly space invaders.

The film also stars Mike Colter (Marvel's Luke Cage) and Israel Broussard (Happy Death Day) with Lizzy Caplan (Masters of Sex) playing Pena's wife.

Australian director Ben Young, who previously made the cult Aussie abduction horror "Hounds of Love," directs "Extinction," which will premiere later this month on Netflix, beginning Friday, July 27th.

synopsis:
A father has a recurring dream of losing his family. His nightmare turns into reality when the planet is invaded by a force bent on destruction. Now, fighting for their lives, he comes to realize an unknown strength to keep them safe from harm.
